Deep teal shadows and warm practical lights, with skin held back from the teal.
Overcast Matte
A soft, faded look. The darkest parts of the picture are lifted to a dark grey, color is turned down, and the shadows get a slight cool tint. It feels like a cloudy morning, even when the original was shot in bright sun.

Use it on
Slow travel videos, coffee and breakfast shots, interiors, anything where you want calm rather than punch. It also hides harsh phone contrast quite well.
Skip it on
Night footage and dark scenes. Lifted blacks make noise more visible and the image can look washed out rather than moody.
Good to know
Color is lowered on purpose, so skin looks paler than in the original. That is the look, not a fault. If faces look too grey for your taste, use it at around 60%.

Late-sun warmth in the highlights, a little blue left in the shadows. Greens step back so faces lead.
